Jewish Walking Tour

Explore the 7th Street neighborhood where Jews lived and worshipped from 1850 to 1950. Our walk will take us through the neighborhood now known as Chinatown. We will start at the 1876 historic synagogue which now houses the Lillian & Albert Small Jewish Museum at 3rd & G streets and end at the Sixth & I Historic Synagogue.

Sunday June 14 at 11AM

The cost of this exciting walking tour is $18 per person. Book early because the tour can only accommodate 25 people. The tour will begin at 11AM at 701 Third Street, NW (corner of G Street) where we will meet our guide. (Facilities will be available.) After our walk, we will be ready for lunch at the Matchbox Restaurant and Vintage Pizza Bistro in Chinatown. This meal is optional and not included in the $18.00

Directions

Sixth & I does not have a parking lot. Street parking in the neighborhood is limited so we recommend taking the Metro to the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro stop on the red, yellow, and green lines. Use the 7th and H Street exit. For more info, click here: 6th & I Directions
