Selichot 2010 Dinner

With its meaningful and compelling liturgy, Selichot is a service that is designed to prepare Jews around the world for the spiritual odyssey of the High Holy Days.

WHC's beautiful, candle-lit Service will be held on
Saturday, September 4, at 8pm in Kaufmann Sanctuary. Selichot includes traditional prayers and contemporary expressions of humanity's yearning for completion and concludes with the traditional sounding of the shofar.

The evening will begin with a congregational dinner at 6pm and concert with Julian Milkis, a world class clarinetist, at 7pm. The dinner, hosted by the WHC EmptyNesters, is open to the entire congregation at a cost of $25 per person. There is a limited capacity for this event so reservations will be taken on a first come/first served basis. If you decide to attend dinner, please send in your check as soon as possible to:
