April 10th 6:30PM Havdalah Dinner at the Julia Bindeman Subsurban Center (JBSC) in Potomac Gregg Rickman Speaking on The Hunt for Jewish Assets
After coming to power prior to and during World War II, the Nazis stole the assets of Jewish victims on a massive scale and enjoyed the cooperation of many "respected" institutions across Europe in this theft. Dr. Gregg J. Rickman, our featured speaker at this Havdalah dinner, describes how those institutions are now being brought to justice.
Dr. Rickman served as the first U.S. Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Anti-Semitism from 2006-2009. He is a Senior Fellow for the Study and Combat of Anti-Semitism at the Institute on Religion and Public Policy and a Visiting Fellow at the Initiative for the Interdisciplinary Study of Anti-Semitism at Yale University.
The evening will include a lovely Havdalah service followed by a catered dinner. The price of the dinner is $25.00 per person. To attend this event, you must RSVP by April 1.
